Former Lutcher High School Student Daevon J. Adams Makes A Big Impact At Tulane University Law School As 3L Appellant Champion
On March 1, 2026, Tulane University Law School held the Honorary Rounds of its prestigious Moot Court Program, bringing together the institution’s top student advocates for an afternoon of rigorous appellate advocacy and longstanding tradition. Among those recognized was Daevon James Adams, a native of Lutcher, Louisiana, whose performance secured him one of the program’s highest honors — having his name etched permanently into the marble walls of the Wendell H. Gauthier Moot Court Room. Adams hopes his story encourages others to remember a simple truth: do not let where you’re from define where you can go.
