ST. JAMES PARISH PUMPKIN PATCH AND FALL FESTIVAL: The annual St. James Parish Pumpkin Patch is only one day this year, Sunday, October 18, from 8 a.m. 4o 4 p.m. at the Welcome Center pavilion located at the corner of Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 641. There is no entry fee, and pumpkins can be purchased from $1 to $10 each. There will be 30 vendors selling food, arts and crafts and other goods. Children will be able to trick-or-treat with the vendors. There will also be a petting zoo from 9:30 a.m. until noon. All day activities include face painting, a kids’ activity tent, hayride, haunted house, sensory play, outdoor games, a DJ, and a nature trail.
