Jodi Bourgeois, a Professional Pharmacy major from Vacherie, was named to the University of Louisiana Monroe's Spring 2026 President's List.
The Lutcher High Boys & Girls Track & Field teams participated in the annual District 8-4A Track Meet held at E.D. White Catholic School in Thibodaux. The top four finishers in each event qualify to compete in the Region II-4 Meet. Sophomore Anais Johnson of the Lady Bulldogs was named the District Track MVP and overall MVP of the Meet in the Girls’ Division.
The St. James Boys & Girls Track & Field teams saw the Boys taking first place in team total points while the Lady Wildcats finished as the District 73A runner-up in their respective Divisions.
The Lutcher High Lady Bulldog softball team’s season came to an end last Saturday when the Brusly Lady Panthers captured a 3-0 shutout victory in the Division II (non-select) semifinal game played at the LHSAA State Softball Tournament in Sulphur, LA.
The Lutcher Bulldog baseball team kept their fans on the edge of their seats last Saturday and Sunday when they dropped Game 1 of the best of three series against the West Feliciana Saints and then won the next two in dramatic fashion to win the series and advance to the semifinals.
