The St. James Wildcat fishing team competed in the Stale-cracker Two Step Bass Classic Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Doiron's Landing in Morgan City. There were 65 high school boats competing from schools around the state. Anglers were able to fish the Lake Verret area or spillway.
The Lutcher Boys and Girls Track & Field teams competed in the Class 4A state meet held at LSU’s Bernie Moore Track Stadium.
