The St. James Wildcat football team improved to 2-0 on the season after capturing a 41-26 over the L. B. Landry Chargin' Bucs in a contest that was played at Southern University's Mumford Stadium in Baton Rouge.

St. James Parish Hospital is now partnering with BROC (Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic) Foundation to support Lutcher High School Athletes through an athletic training program. The hospital’s experienced team of physical therapists and movement specialists will work with the BROC team to support the sports medicine needs of students.
