An Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony was held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 honoring John Carter Neill, recipient of The Eagle Scout Award. John Carter is the son of John & Stacey {Pollet} Neill of Mandeville, LA. The Ceremony was held at Pelican's Landing Pavilion at Pelican Park in Mandeville, Louisiana. John Carter represented Troop 611. The Master of Ceremony was Mr. Cooper Estrade with the Invocation given by Deacon Andy Raspino. The Inspirational Guest Speaker was Coach Greg Battistella. John Carter was also recognized at the Mandeville City Hall for earning his Eagle award.

The first graders in Mrs. Sherie Chenier's Math classes have been busy learning about strategies to add large numbers. Some of the strategies learned were the number bond strategy, quick tens and ones, dimes and pennies, the arrow way, and etc. The students learned all of the strategies, but were able to solve problems using their favorite strategy.
