The St. James Parish Government and the new owners of the Big Shake borrow pit are currently in a legal dispute that centers around the St. James Parish’s Land Use Ordinance/Plan and whether the new owners should comply with the rules and regulations of the Parish’s Land Use Plan.
Tuesday’s St. James Parish School Board meeting was somewhat bittersweet as the Board honored and said goodbye to twenty-five staff members who have made the decision to retire.
The Family of Kim LeBlanc Poche wishes to express it heartfelt thanks to the entire community for all of the kind words, prayers and numerous acts of service showered upon us.
