For the last eight years, St. James Parish Hospital and Ochsner Clinic Foundation have had a partnership to provide cardiology services in St. James Parish, expanding cardiology services close to home.

St. James Parish President Peter Dufresne said the Parish Administration changed health insurance carrier in July 2021, resulting in significant savings this year. The parish is passing the savings on to their employees and those retirees who pay for insurance coverage.
