Lutcher Mayor Patrick St. Pierre told the secret to his always fresh complexion at the Sheriff’s Business Breakfast last Saturday. He said he wanted a glowing complexion, so he bought a tube of Glow Cream, which he uses when he wants to make a glowing impression. The cream works so well on the mayor that it was suggested that samples be given to those who attend the next Business Breakfast. If you see Mayor St. Pierre and he appears to be glowing, be sure to compliment him.

This fallen world system operates under a false value system, placing importance on things that have no spiritual worth or eternal impact. Wealth, position, youth, talent and beauty are worshiped in our society. While these things are not inherently evil, measuring a person’s value by these things is rooted in the pride of life and the lust of the fleshthe fallen, sinful nature of man. God is no respecter of persons, and neither should be the Christian.
St. James Fishing Scores Big At State Championship

The St. James High School fishing team competed this weekend May 3rd and 4th, 2025 in the Louisiana Bass Youth Nation two state championship tournament at Lake D’Arbonne near Monroe, LA.
