The Lutcher Bulldog Boys Basketball team swept the season series over Parish rival St. James after handing the Wildcats a 70-57 loss last week. Lutcher, which previously defeated St. James 57-52 on Jan. 18, were led by Jermiah and Jaedon Pierre as each poured in 25 and 23 points respectively, against the Wildcats.
The St. James Lady Wildcat basketball team captured a 73-33 win over Parish rival Lutcher in a District 9-3A contest played last week. The victory improved St. James to 4-4 in league play entering the final week of the regular season. The loss dropped Lutcher to 1-7 in district.

The Lutcher Lady Bulldogs captured its first District 9-3A win of the season after defeating the Berwick Lady Panthers 45-17 last week.
The Lutcher Lady Bulldog Basketball team suffered a pair of District 9- 3A losses to Donaldsonville and to Patterson last week.
