A Paulina man nearly lost his life when he attempted to ward off two individuals who were in the act of burglarizing his vehicles in his own driveway.
Last week when I wrote about St. James Parish unfortunately reaching and surpassing 500 confirmed cases of COVID-19, little did I know at that time that in just over a week, when many hoped we could possibly begin to see a downward trend in reported cases, I would be reporting that our parish has now confirmed over 600 (604 to be exact) cases of COVID-19 as of press time on Wednesday.
