In honor of National First Responders Day, Mosaic recently awarded the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office a grant in the amount of $100,000 to support the purchase of a 200 kw generator and trailer which will enable the Sheriff’s Office to sustain operations at its training facility during long-term power outages.
The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), located in the Convent Senior Center at 5775 Hwy. 44, Convent, will permanently close on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
