St. James High School will induct two new members of the Hall of Fame on Friday, October 20, 2023, when the community honors renowned Chef John Folse, of the Class of 1965, and Judge Jude Gravois of the Class of 1971. Both will be honored at halftime.

The St. James Parish Council last Wednesday voted to approve Koch Methanol’s request to participate in the Louisiana Industrial Tax Exemption Program (ITEP), which offers financial incentive to industry and manufacturers to build or expand their facilities in the state. The incentive equals to an 80 percent reduction on their property taxes for the first 10 years.
