The Riverside Academy Lady Rebels began the 2024 Softball season with a convincing 17-2 victory over the Holden Lady Rockets in a non-district contest played last week.
The Louisiana Sheriffs’ Scholarship Program will award scholarships providing assistance to worthy Louisiana students in furthering their education and training with resources made available through the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Honorary Membership Program.
The 3 Ell’s Club are looking for the next beneficiary for their upcoming 2025 show. The 3 Ell’s, which stands for “Lyrics, Laughter, and Ladies,” have been around since 1965. The all female charity organization has been using their talents of entertainment and comedy to promote charitable acts and performs a variety show every other year to raise money that will directly support other organizations, groups, and/or individuals of St. James Parish.
St. John Theatre will present a children’s drama workshop May 28 – June 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the theater, 115 W. Fourth Street., in Reserve. Children having completed kindergarten through fifth grade may attend.
Any child four (4) years of age by September 30, 2024, as evidenced by a birth certificate, may enter Pre-School in St. James Parish for the 2024-2025 school session.
