In March 2024, St. James Parish Hospital announced a partnership with ProxsysRx, an independent hospital pharmacy services provider, to open a retail pharmacy in Lutcher as a result of a community need following the closure of another local pharmacy.
District 58 Representative Ken Brass on Saturday wrote a social media post addressing his arrest two days prior on charges of improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Legislative District 58 will receive over $160 million dollars of improvements because of the most recent legislative session which adjourned earlier this summer.
