A bit of St. James Parish history was recently resurrected when a group of historic ragdolls recently returned to St. James Parish where they were made approximately 40 years ago. The story of these dolls is seldom told and hardly remembered these days.
St. James Parish Officials have announced that One-Way Traffic Along LA HWY 44 will once again be implemented during the 2022 Christmas Eve Bonfires.
It has been a long time coming but the newly renovated St. James Parish Recreation Building, located on Deroche Circle in Gramercy, is now open.
Parish President Pete Dufresne and the Recreation Department are pleased to announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the new St James Parish Recreation Building, prior to the Biddy Basketball season opener. The event will be held on Monday, December 19th at 4:00 p.m. at the new Recreation Building located at 1735 Deroche Circle, Gramercy, LA 70052.
