Last Wednesday, Ash Wednesday, American Legion, Post 171, held their annual fundraiser dinner to aid in the general upkeep of the Veterans building in Lutcher, and the meal prepared was shrimp étouffee, coleslaw, corn, bread and a dessert.
The St. James Parish Retired Teachers will meet Thursday, March 13 at the PR Building. Registration will begin at 10:30. The meeting will follow at 11:00.
In the Across the River column published on February 20th, it publicized that a conference, titled “Petrochemical Pollution, the Unborn, and Maternal Health” is scheduled to be held on April 4th & 5th at St. Peter Chanel school in Paulina.
