Free Expungement Clinic At Highway Baptist Church Multi-purpose Building

On March 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. there will be a Free Expungement Clinic at Highway Baptist Church Multi-purpose Building, 1185 Magnolia Heights Street, Vacherie, LA 70090. This is free and open to the public for any persons interested in removing an offense or violation from their record. Former Judge Alvin Turner of the 23rd Judicial District Court will lead this event.

Last Thursday, several concerned citizens, local elected officials, and members of several environmental watch-dog groups gathered at the St. James Parish Boat Club to receive information on an industrial project already in the works that opponents contend if completed, could have a negative and devastating impact on Lake Maurepas and the surrounding areas, including areas in St. James Parish.
