On Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the St. James Boat Club the Second Annual United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program was held.
Being named Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires XXVI was one of the greatest honors of my life, and I’m so incredibly grateful I had the chance to carry on one of St. James Parish’s most cherished holiday traditions. And of course I did it in St. James Parish style, having open arms and a warm welcome. I met so many amazing, amazing girls throughout my year - girls that I now call my best friends. Ever since I was a little girl, I would watch the Festival of the Bonfires with awe and admiration. Glowing bonfires lighting up the riverbanks and the sense of community and joy that filled the air. It was a tradition I dreamed of being part of someday, and to actually live that dream was truly magical.
As my reign comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and celebrated with me throughout this unforgettable journey. Serving our community and representing our beloved festival has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Being involved in the Festival of the Bonfires and our Christmas Eve tradition is a feeling full of pride. When I first stepped into this role as Teen Miss Festival of the Bonfires XXIII, I knew it would be exciting, but I could never have imagined how profoundly it would impact me. The people I met, the stories I heard, and the traditions I helped carry forward have shaped me in ways I will forever be thankful for.
