The Lutcher High Lady Bulldog Basketball team came away with a 57-26 victory over the St. Charles Catholic Lady Comets in a non-district contest.
The St. James Parish School System offers program choices, and applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now open. All Magnet, Montessori, and St. Louis Academy applications are now available on the St. James Parish Schools' website at www.sjpsb.org. The application period begins on December 10, 2024 and will close on January 31, 2025.
I also forgot THE most beloved gift by little boys - Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. We stacked cans in a pyramid many times as targets for my brothers to shoot. Aluminum pie plates hung by a string from a tree were also good targets.
As I prepare to host my third annual Cookies and Cocoa party for my family, I’m pondering a few things. Will the little ones expect Santa to show up as he has in the past? Will Caroline again look down if Mrs. Claus asks who’s on the Nice List? Will I end up buying a snow machine? However, these are not the only thoughts I’m entertaining this Christmas season. Especially around this time of year, I attempt to look at the birth of Jesus through the eyes of Mary.
