The Class 4A All-State baseball team was recently announced recently and the Lutcher High Baseball team saw two players make the elite squad.
In just it's second season of participation in the Prep Summer Baseball League, the Cypress Physical Therapy-based Lutcher High Bulldogs captured a 7-6 victory over the John Curtis Patriots to win the Crescent City Sports Prep Summer League title.
The playoffs for the second- season of the Crescent City Sports Prep Summer Baseball League are set for Wednesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 6. On July 5th, top-seeded Lutcherbased Cypress Physical Therapy was scheduled to play fourth seeded Brother Martin-based K's for Kids at 4:30 p.m. Seconded seeded Archbishop Rummel-based Malcolm Dienes played third seeded John Curtis-based River Ridge Patriots. Both games were played at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium in New Orleans.
