The Lutcher Lady Bulldog Volleyball team began District 8-III play on a successful note after defeating Morgan City by set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23.

The St. James Wildcat football team ended the week of Homecoming festivities with a 38-16 victory over the Lake Charles Collegiate Prep Trailblazers in a non-district contest played in beautiful downtown Vacherie last Friday.
The Lutcher High Lady Bulldog Volleyball team captured three consecutive match wins over Destrehan, Riverside and Assumption as the team continues to prepare for District 8-III play that begins this week.
The St. James Wildcat football team won their fourth straight last Friday when they beat the Woodlawn Panthers 22-7 in a nondistrict contest played at Wildcat Stadium in Vacherie.
