The Lutcher Bulldog football team’s season came to an end last Friday in St. Martinville as the Tigers beat the ‘Dogs 59- 42 (101 total points), and although this year’s squad will not play in the semi-finals this week, head coach Dwain Jenkins says this group will not only go down as one of the best offensive teams to wear the purple and gold, but will also forever hold a very special place in his heart.

Last Friday’s cool, brisk temperature could not cool down Lutcher Bulldog running back Roy Forrest as the senior ball carrier literally ran over the Bogalusa Lumberjacks in last Friday’s 54-27 second round playoff win as he rushed for 179-yards on 17 carries and scored six rushing TDs (three TDs in the first half and three TDs in the second).
