Rapp, Sr. and First Lady Rose Rapp want to thank their church members, family and friends who came from near and far for your generous support for participating in the 15 year Pastorial Anniversary Drive-By Parade for Pastor Rapp on Friday, February 28, 2021. A special thank you goes out to God’s humble servant Reverend Samuel Jones, Pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, St. James, LA. who received the call and was obedient to bless the ceremony with a prayer, we appreciate you for your faithfulness, and to Reverend Wesley Brown, Pastor of Highway Baptist Church of Vacherie, LA. for allowing the use of the church parking ground where the parade started, to the Vacherie Volunteer Fire Department for leading the parade and last but not least to our cooks and food preparers who worked so diligently, our decorator who always has a willing heart. “To God be the glory for the things He has done.” God truly blessed us with a beautiful day. Again thank you, your kindness will be with us forever.

Students in Miss Courtney’s kindergarten class at Vacherie Elementary School learned about the Long A vowel sound. Each student made a vase filled with colorful spring flowers. Each flower had one of the Long A words learned in class.
