St. James Parish Hospital is proud to announce the 2020 Employees of the 4th Quarter, Glen Zeller, Maintenance Technician, and Lorain Landry, ER Registered Nurse. Both employees were nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for their dedication to the hospital.
My name is Myra Edgar Brown, I am a native of Vacherie. I have entered the Favorite Chef food contest. I am the only one from Vacherie, LA and from Louisiana in the group I am in. I am a selfmade / homemade chef / cook. My love and grace I put into my cooking is like love, which cannot be measured.
St. Vincent de Paul partnered with the Baton Rouge Food Bank on Wednesday, February 24th from 8 a.m. - noon to offer food distribution to those in need. There were 500 food boxes distributed to anyone who drove by. The distribution was held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 616 E. Main St. in Gramercy.
The March 11th meeting of the St. James Retired Teachers Association has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
