Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin has announced that Governor John Bel Edwards has agreed with his recommendation to reschedule the Fall 2021 elections in light of the devastation brought on by Hurricane Ida.
The St. James Parish School Board met on Tuesday and the Board voted to give Superintendent Ed Cancienne emergency authorization to do what it takes to get the District’s schools up and running as soon as possible.
