St. James Parish President Peter Dufresne reported to the St. James Parish Council last week that Parish residents can now apply for assistance to remove hurricane debris from private property.
The St. James Parish School Board met last Wednesday at Paulina Elementary and after conducting a Public Hearing on the proposed new School Board District boundaries, the Board voted unanimously to accept the plan during the regular meeting.
On Saturday, April 23rd, individuals and groups from around St. James Parish gathered to pick up litter as part of the Love the Boot Week.
Last Saturday’s St. James Parish School Board ad valorem tax renewal election went in the Board’s favor as more than 80% of voters who voted were in support.
