Dynamic Duo Brings Home Gold

We are all familiar with famous dynamic duos such as Batman & Robin, Tom & Jerry, Hans Solo & Chewbacca, and Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. There are numerous others that fit in this category and the News Examiner- Enterprise would like to suggest adding two very special members of our community to this prestigious list.

Parish President Pete Dufresne is proud of our local students for taking initiative to participate in the Veterans Day Event. He said, “Our team has been preparing all year long for our Veterans Day Event. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our veterans and recognize the service and courage of the brave men and women who fought for our country. It means a lot that so many of our students are joining St. James Parish in honoring our veterans at this event.” Louisiana’s National Officer to the VFW of the United States National Council of Administration Bobby Lovergne Jr. will be this year’s special guest speaker. The Economic Development Board Chairman Mr. Paul Aucoin will chair the event and Pastor Samuel Jones of Mount Calvary Baptist Church will be leading an invocation.
