Any child four (4) years of age by September 30, 2023, as evidenced by a birth certificate, may enter Pre-School in St. James Parish for the 2023-2024 school session.
The Louisiana Sheriffs’ Scholarship Program will award scholarships providing assistance to worthy Louisiana students in furthering their education and training with resources made available through the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Honorary Membership Program.

On March 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. there will be a Free Expungement Clinic at Highway Baptist Church Multi-purpose Building, 1185 Magnolia Heights Street, Vacherie, LA 70090. This is free and open to the public for any persons interested in removing an offense or violation from their record. Former Judge Alvin Turner of the 23rd Judicial District Court will lead this event.
