Organizers of the St. James Open golf tournament are happy to announce to the local golfing public that the tournament is coming back in 2023.
The St. James Parish Government would like to alert the public that the Grand Point Boat Launch will be closed for public use at certain times in the coming weeks to allow the Parish to clear and remove debris out of Bourbon Canal and all major outfalls, and to prepare for the Westshore Interconnect Levee project.
St. James High, Sixth Ward Elementary, and the Salute 1st mentoring program being implemented at St. James High and 6th Ward were all beneficiaries of a rather large donation made by several local industries at Tuesday’s St. James Parish School Board meeting.
