If the following story about a two-year old child being shot once in each leg does not wake up and rile up the St. James Parish community then I guess an innocent child will have to be killed before action is taken.
Referring to Sunday’s shooting in Gramercy (see article above), it is hard to comprehend why a father would want to protect someone who had not only just attempted to kill him, but also shot his two-year old child and could have easily shot and possibly killed his two other children and the mother to those three innocent children.
Cully Frisard with Frisard’s Trucking was kind enough to donate four police body cameras to the Lutcher Police Department Tuesday evening at the Lutcher Town meeting. Frisard is a huge supporter of law enforcement and said he wanted to help improve police safety for the Lutcher officers and to help improve public safety. Frisard said the cameras record a high quality video and audio, are waterproof and use GPS.
Last week in the Lutcher High School library, Lutcher Lady Bulldog softball players Maria Detillier and Allie Bland, who also happen to be best friends, had their dreams come true as the dynamic duo each signed scholarships to play softball on the collegiate level.
