The award-winning K.Levy’s Legends Music Festival is back for its 3rd annual installment, set to take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 29393 Highway 3127 in Vacherie, Louisiana.
ST. JAMES PARISH MARKET DAY: St. James Parish will host another Market Day on Saturday, May 10, at its new location. Market Day is moving from the St. James Parish Welcome Center to Lutcher Park and will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is plenty of parking space at Lutcher Park and walking is easier. This day before Mother’s Day is a great time for shopping for mom while enjoying a great lunch and appetizing treats. Market Day at the District 7 Park was very successful. I visited at about 11 a.m. and most of the food booths were already sold out. There are great bargains at Market Day.
I would like to pay tribute to a very special lady, my mother, now deceased. I’ve disappointed her many times, but she, with her unconditional love, never failed me or my brother and sisters.
I’ve been blessed with five children and am now in the wonderful stage of grandchildren. For me, motherhood is the most challenging role of my life, yet one of my greatest joys. It’s been an incredible experience to watch pieces of my heart walk and talk and move independently.
