Richard J. Roussel passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the age of 83 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 21, 1937. He loved fishing and gardening, vegetables and tobacco. He was a great lawnmower repair man. Richard was a school bus driver for St. James Parish. He also worked for Kaiser Aluminum for over 30 years. He was the first elected fire chief for the Paulina, Grand Point, Belmont Fire Department. He was also a member of LHS Quarterback Club for 40 years. He was a member of SOAR for Kaiser retirees and cooked for many meetings and functions.
