St. James Parish Hospital was recently named one of three 2020 Safety Star Award recipients by the Louisiana Hospital Association (LHA) Trust Funds. The Safety Star Award is presented to healthcare facilities who have successfully implemented new processes or developed innovative ideas that improve patient safety.
The 2020 St. James Open will be held this Sunday, October 25th, at the Pelican Point, Lakes Course in Gonzales, with a 9:00 a.m shotgun start.
St. James Parish Government, Department of Human Resources, Community Action Agency along with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will distribute commodities to registered individuals and families in St. James Parish on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 and Thursday, October 29, 2020. Commodities will be distributed by drive thru on a first-come, first served basis to all registered applicants. Verification of identification will be required to pick up commodities. In order to receive commodities, an individual must be a resident of St. James Parish.
