A Monday morning telephone call to St. James Parish Hospital CEO MaryEllen Pratt to discuss the COVID-19 vaccine effort at the local hospital only confirmed what I thought I already knew - that getting shots into the arms of local residents is a huge and monumental undertaking.
Students graduating in 2021 from St. James or Lutcher High School in St. James Parish are eligible to apply for a scholarship of $3,500 per year for up to four years. Please note that all applicants must be majoring in Engineering or Metallurgy.
The Louisiana Sheriffs’ Scholarship Program will award scholarships providing assistance to worthy Louisiana students in furthering their education and training with resources made available through the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Honorary Membership Program.
Any child four (4) years of age by September 30, 2021, as evidenced by a birth certificate, may enter Pre-School in St. James Parish for the 2021-2022 school session.
