Dr. Ernest N. Ezidore, far left holding hat, is part of this group aboard the Good Neighbor, a yacht belonging to the New Orleans Dock Board which was used to honor important visitors to the city by taking them on tours up and down the Mississippi River in New Orleans. Some of the same group are pictured at the entrance to Flint Goodridge Hospital, the first hospital for African Americans in the Deep South and among the first in the country. A resident of Gramercy, Dr. Ezidore took care of patients on both the east and west banks of the river.
