Parish Council Assumes Power In Lawsuit Reimbursements
Following a one-hour Public Hearing, the St. James Parish Council last Tuesday passed an ordinance giving the council the power to decide whether and how much they will pay for attorney fees, costs and expenses incurred by officers, officials, and employees of St. James Parish government in civil or criminal litigation if found not guilty.
Council Action Extends Mississippi River Bike/Walking Trail
The St. James Parish Council last week committed $2.5 million dollars to the continuation of the Mississippi River trails which will eventually allow walkers or cyclists to travel on either side of the levee from St. James Parish to New Orleans.
Redistricting Progress, LSU Ag Annual Report Presented To Council

Assistance Application Deadline Expires, But FEMA To Remain In LA
