The Lutcher High boys and girls Track & Field team concluded its season with two members reaching the Class 4A state Meet held at LSU. Ciera Cammon and Trenton Chaney of Lutcher each competed in the State Meet.
On Saturday, April 20 individuals and groups from around St. James Parish gathered to pick up litter as part of the Love the Boot Week. Keep St. James Beautiful board of directors planned this event as part of their yearly goals to keep our parish clean and beautiful.

Layers are not only for cakes. In their 3-layer landscape, the Jenkins chose white Wave Petunias as the ground layer which makes the garden “pop” against their lawn and home. The second layer of Boxwoods provides greenery throughout the year. The third layer of Sunshine Ligustrum meets the shape and color principles providing cone-shaped shades of yellow.
Seven members of First Community Antioch Baptist Church have filed a lawsuit in the 23rd Judicial District Court, and in the suit they ask a Judge to compel the senior pastor to produce, among other things, the Church’s financial records to the plaintiffs.
