As they’ve done since 1965 (60-years), the 3 ELL’s organization’s bi-annual stage show is being held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 11th-13th, at the Lutcher High School auditorium.

St. James Parish is open for business, according to Parish President Peter Dufresne.

Every April, the Lutcher Board of Aldermen is charged with adopting the Town’s yearly operating budget, and what has become a predictable occurence, the Aldermen were at odds over proposed pay increases suggested by Mayor Patrick St. Pierre and failed to actually adopt the budget.
Last Saturday, March 29th, St. James Parish voters were asked to consider renewing a local law enforcement property tax and vote on four Louisiana Constitutional Amendments.
