East Bank Drainage And Flood Protection Task Force Presents Master Plan To Public

The St. James Parish East Bank Drainage and Flood Protection Task Force held three public meetings on three successive Mondays to make public the recommendations they will make to the St. James Parish Council. The meetings were held in Lutcher, Convent and Grand Point and were facilitated by Task Force Chairman Richard St. Pierre.

The purpose of the East Bank Storm Water Master Plan is to manage storm water runoff and storm surge in order to protect and enhance property value as well as to promote a thriving and sustainable community. East bank parish residents experienced the impact of storm surge in their area after Hurricane Isaac.
